The public are becoming more satisfied with China's parcel delivery service last year, and meanwhile, more parcels have been delivered within 72 hours, the latest survey showed, according to the State Post Bureau of China.

The survey showed that the public's satisfaction with the sector and on-time delivery rates in 72 hours both set the records by reaching the highest scores in history.

Last year, over 80 percent of consignments were received by customers within 72 hours, the survey showed.

The survey, organized by the bureau, was conducted by a third-party organization. It monitored 9 express delivery service companies across 50 cities.

To evaluate satisfaction with the service, the survey collected 175,000 valid samples and utilized methods such as online surveys, with customers who used express delivery services last year evaluating satisfaction in five aspects.

The survey also collected 7.82 million valid samples to evaluate parcel delivery time.
