Beijing, October 7 (Youth.cn) - According to data released by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism on October 6th, 2023, during the 2023 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, China's domestic tourism industry experienced a robust recovery with stable and orderly holiday market conditions. During the 8-day holiday period, there were a total of 826 million domestic tourist trips, marking a year-on-year increase of 71.3% when using comparable data. Compared to 2019, there was a 4.1% increase in the number of trips. 

In terms of domestic tourism revenue, it reached 753.43 billion Chinese yuan during this holiday period, indicating a significant year-on-year increase of 129.5% based on comparable data. When compared to 2019, there was a 1.5% increase in revenue.
